Certified public psychologist and clinical psychologist.
Having developed an interest in “inclusive education” in which children both with and without special educational needs learn together, moved to Finland with her husband in 2013. Since then, has continued research on inclusive education. From her experience of giving birth and raising children in Finland, she is also interested in neuvola, social welfare systems and early childhood education, and has been conducting a wide range of research.

Worked as a clinical psychologist for six years at a treatment and education center, pediatric psychiatry clinic, and elementary school among other facilities. Mainly provided counseling and consultation to children with special needs as well as their parents and teachers.

Yuko Hasegawa専門:Caregiving, nursing, and education in Sweden
Graduated from Hyogo Prefectural University of Nursing. Has experience working at Toranomon Hospital.
Since 2008, residing in Uppsala, Sweden. After completing a nursing program for foreign nurses at Karolinska University, obtained an EU nursing license. Since 2014, worked in the geriatrics ward at Uppsala University Hospital (Akademiska sjukhuset), and in 2016, became a dementia specialist nurse (Silvia nurse) certified by the Queen of Sweden.
Currently, working as a dementia specialist nurse at a senior care home in Sweden, while enrolled in the master’s program in geriatric nursing at Dalarna University. Daily activities include providing medical care, educating patients and their families about diseases, and offering technical and ethical education to nursing students and care staff.
Believes that “self-determination” and “mutual respect” are important concepts in Swedish education and healthcare welfare. Actively shares insights on nursing, caregiving, preschool, and elementary school education based on this belief.
